Founding Paga
Paga was established around the idea of using technology to make financial transactions more accessible and convenient in emerging markets.

The company focuses on digitising cash and providing tools designed to enable people and businesses to participate more easily in the formal digital financial ecosystem.
Oviosu has remained at the centre of Paga’s growth as its founder and Group CEO, overseeing the company’s development within Nigeria’s rapidly evolving fintech sector.
Beyond Paga
Oviosu’s activities extend beyond his role at Paga. He is also associated with Kairos Angels, an organisation that partners with entrepreneurs to build scalable and sustainable businesses.

A Career at the Intersection of Technology and Finance
Oviosu’s career has combined several areas of expertise, including electrical engineering, software development, management consulting, corporate strategy, investment and financial technology.
His transition from engineering and technology roles in the United States to entrepreneurship in Nigeria reflects a broader movement among African technology professionals who have applied international experience to challenges within African markets.
At Paga, his focus has centred on the intersection of technology and financial inclusion, particularly the challenge of reducing dependence on cash and expanding access to digital financial services.
