Patrice Tlhopane Motsepe is a renowned South African mining magnate, entrepreneur, investor, and philanthropist who is widely recognized as one of Africa’s most influential business leaders. Born on January 28, 1962, in Soweto, South Africa, Motsepe grew up during the apartheid era and developed a strong work ethic through his family’s small business activities. His father owned a local trading store that served mine workers, giving the young Motsepe early exposure to business and entrepreneurship.
