In a strategic effort to accelerate digital innovation and economic growth, the Osun State Government convened a closed door Digital Transformation & Tech Tourism Policy Engagement on August 14, 2023. The session, represented by the Commissioner for Home Affairs on behalf of the Governor and the Osun State Government, brought together five leading technology innovators driving Nigeria’s digital future.
The invited innovators included Chinedu Eze – EduBridge NG, Seun Paul Olatunji – MediAid Plus & Efiko NG, Tunde Adeola – AgriTech Connect, Chukwuemeka Nwosu – HealthSync Africa, and Emeka Okoye – FinAccess NG.
During the engagement, the innovators provided expert input on digital medical records systems, health data governance, secure and interoperable infrastructure, and scalable platforms for workforce upskilling. Discussions also explored tech tourism, highlighting how technology enabled healthcare, digital learning platforms, certification programs, and innovation ecosystems can attract talent, institutional partnerships, and investment to Osun State.
Insights from the session are expected to guide Osun State’s policy initiatives, supporting sustainable digital transformation, innovation-led economic growth, and technology driven talent attraction. The participation of these five innovators reflects the state’s commitment to building a collaborative ecosystem where digital solutions strengthen infrastructure, enhance skills, and expand economic opportunities.
